My most treasured vintage bag belonged to my mother, Hasna. She used to carry the Walter Steiger clutch when we went to weddings. I can still remember my father handing it to me after she passed away. I placed it on my shelf, where it sat, looking at me. I never wanted to use it - it was a treasure that I kept nearby to remind me of her.

My mom, a Saudi of Palestinian descent, always loved luxury fashion. She and my father went to a university in the United States, where she studied fashion design merchandising.
She loved all the high-end brands, but Versace was her favorite.

My family was very strict about luxury but believed deeply in quality and sustainability. My mom said that she would buy us our first luxury bag when we were 17 years old, once we were old enough to truly know its value and care for it well.

Somehow, I managed to cheat the system because I received a Coach bag when I got an A at school - and I was only 14 years old! It was a simple, trendy bag, but to me it was the most luxurious item in the world. A year later, my mom passed away. While her death left a painful gap in our lives, my father was there to hold all of us together. He gifted me some of her bags, including the Walter Steiger  clutch, so that I could hold on to her memory through the luxury she so loved.

The seeds my mother planted grew into my own love of luxury fashion, combined with my father’s love of sustainability. Whenever I travelled, my first stop was always vintage stores, especially the ones in New York. I was drawn to each product as if it was calling me, whispering to me stories of where it had been before. I quickly added to my mother’s collection - slowly growing a curated collection of my own pre-loved treasures.

While in Switzerland studying BA, I added an extra year to my degree in order to enroll in a new major they were offering, “Luxury Management”. I felt my mother was with me as I learned about authenticity, counterfeiting, and all of the origin stories of luxury brands. Upon returning to Saudi Arabia, I worked for my family business in communications and sustainability, but my mother’s bags were never far from my mind. I started posting photos of my bags on Instagram and my friends were eager to know where they could buy them too.

They also loved the look and the stories behind these vintage designs. Everyone was elated when I explained that the bags were mine, but I would be willing to sell to them. I slowly began selling bags, while still holding on to my mother’s treasures. It was my wise father who suggested that I turn my hobby & passion into a business that combines my education, work experience, and passion for luxury vintage. And so, The Nostalgia Club was born.

Heirlooms, family treasures, precious gifts, and once-in-a-lifetime finds are our specialty. At the heart of our mission is sustainability. We believe that in order to transform our world and the fashion industry, we must intentionally invest in products that were not made for the landfill rather were crafted with enough care to last many lifetimes. These timeless treasures have more love to give, and we want to share them with you! When you purchase one of our vintage items, you become a part of their story and carry with you a piece of history.

At The Nostalgia Club, we focus exclusively on selling a curated collection of pre-loved luxury vintage. Our team of international sellers searches the globe to find unique and exclusive treasures. We are searching for beauty, authenticity, quality, and history. Each of the products in our collection is handpicked and we work hard to learn the story behind each treasure. Our collection has items from a wide range of eras, from pre-war to modern vintage but our focus is on finding the rare gems and hidden treasures.
